Bronte Nelson Pinot Gris (2017)

Rimu Grove’s second-tier label. Hand-picked in the Moutere hills and mostly handled in tanks (5 per cent French oak-aged), the 2017 vintage (4*) is a dryish style (6 grams/litre of residual sugar), freshly scented and mouthfilling, with strong, peachy, slightly spicy flavours, a touch of complexity, and a smooth, very harmonious finish. Drink now onwards.
