The 2020 vintage (4.5*) was hand-picked at Te Awanga, Haumoana and Mangatahi, and fermented and lees-aged for 11 months in French oak barriques (15 per cent new). Bright, light yellow/green, with a distinctly smoky bouquet, it is mouthfilling, with rich, peachy flavours, showing very good complexity and harmony. Best drinking 2024+.
