Still very youthful, the 2021 vintage (4.5*) has deep, bright, purple-flushed colour. Full-bodied, it is vibrantly fruity, with strong, ripe blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, a subtle seasoning of oak, savoury notes and finely balanced tannins. Best drinking mid-2024+.
