The delicious 2019 vintage (5*) was estate-grown at Bendigo and 50 per cent of the blend was fermented with indigenous yeasts in old French oak barrels. Bright, light yellow/green, it is fleshy and highly perfumed, with concentrated, ripe, peachy, spicy flavours, a hint of ginger, and an off-dry (11 grams/litre of residual sugar), smooth finish. A powerful, finely poised, youthful wine, it should break into full stride 2022+.
