Pask Small Batch Gimblett Gravels Trilliant (2014)

The debut 2014 vintage (4*) is a Merlot-based blend, with smaller amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, matured for 20 months in French and American oak casks (55 per cent new). Deeply coloured, with a fragrant, spicy bouquet, it is mouthfilling, with generous, ripe, plummy, spicy flavours, showing good complexity, finely balanced tannins and lots of drink-young appeal. Best drinking 2018+.
