The 2013 vintage (4.5*), the first release of this label since 2010, was estate-grown in the Trust Vineyard, in Mere Road, and matured for 15 months in French (80 per cent) and American (20 per cent) oak casks (33 per cent new). Deeply coloured, it is generous and smooth, with gentle tannins and fresh, concentrated, plummy, spicy flavours, seasoned with sweet oak. Already highly approachable, it should be at its best 2018+.
