From Mount Edward, the 2011 vintage (3.5*) was grown at vineyards in the Cromwell Basin and matured for a year in barrels (20 per cent new). Full ruby, it has a scented bouquet of spices and herbs, leading into a mouthfilling wine with plum, spice and dried-herb flavours, showing some savoury complexity.
