Grown in a warm site in Marlborough’s lower Omaka Valley, the 2013 vintage (4*) is a softly textured, full-bodied wine with concentrated, ripe pear, lychee and spice flavours, a hint of ginger, a distinct splash of sweetness (16 grams/litre of residual sugar) and gentle acidity. It’s already delicious.
