A distinctly medium style, the 2011 vintage (5*) is an instantly appealing wine, grown at Waipara, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and lees-aged for three months. The bouquet is fresh, minerally and complex; the palate shows lovely fruit richness, with intense, vibrant grapefruit and spice flavours, fine sugar/acid balance and a faintly honeyed, long finish.
