Kahurangi Estate Nelson Dry Riesling (2011)

The 2011 vintage (4*), ‘from the oldest Riesling vines in the South Island’, was estate-grown in the former Seifried Vineyard at Upper Moutere, planted in the 1970s. Full-bodied, it is lemon-scented, with strong, grapefruit-like flavours, a hint of lime, good concentration and vigour, and a crisp, basically dry (4.5 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.
