Johner Estate Gladstone Pinot Noir (2013)

Grown in the northern Wairarapa and French oak-matured, the 2013 vintage (4*) is deep ruby, mouthfilling and savoury. A generous, supple wine, it is sturdy, spicy and plummy, with hints of herbs and nuts, good complexity and harmony, and lots of drink-young appeal.
