Rippon Sauvignon Blanc (2011)

Estate-grown at Lake Wanaka, in Central Otago, the 2011 vintage (3.5*) was hand-picked from vines planted between 1987 and 1994, and fermented in tanks and seasoned oak barrels. It’s an aromatic, clearly herbaceous wine, slightly flinty, with very good vigour and depth.
