Grown at Gladstone, in the northern Wairarapa, the 2011 vintage (3.5*) was matured for seven months in large, old German oak barrels. Fleshy and smooth, it has youthful, ripe stone-fruit and slight spice flavours, showing very good depth, and a creamy texture.
