Georges Road Selection Waipara Pinot Gris (2011)

Still unfolding, the 2011 vintage (4*) was estate-grown, hand-picked at 24 brix and fermented and lees-aged in old oak casks. Full-bodied and fresh, it’s a medium-dry style (9 grams/litre of residual sugar), with pear, lychee and spice flavours, finely balanced and lingering.
