The 2007 vintage (3*) was estate-grown near Havelock North and matured for a year in French oak casks (62 per cent new). It is fleshy, with generous blackcurrant, spice and plum flavours, seasoned with quality oak, but with bottle-age, distinctly leafy notes are emerging.
