Maturing very gracefully, the deep ruby 2019 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and hand-picked at Northburn and Bannockburn, and matured for over a year in French oak barrels (24 per cent new). Mouthfilling, it has strong cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing very good complexity, and ripe, supple tannins. Best drinking mid-2023+.
