Enjoyable in its youth, the 2020 vintage (4*) was estate-grown in the Awatere (60 per cent) and Wairau (40 per cent) valleys, and matured for 11 months in French oak barrels (20 per cent). Full, bright ruby, it is mouthfilling, sweet-fruited and supple, with generous, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, oak complexity, and very good depth and harmony.
