Attractively scented, the 2020 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown in the Esk Valley, hand-harvested and partly (40 per cent) barrel-fermented). Bright yellow/green, it is full-bodied, crisp and vigorous, with strong, peachy, vaguely honeyed flavours, gently seasoned with oak, and a lively, basically dry finish. Drink now or cellar.
