Review:
Seifried’s most celebrated wine. The 2019 vintage (5*) is delicious young. Light yellow/green, it is lively and intense, with rich, peachy, citrusy, gently honeyed flavours, sweet (198 grams/litre of residual sugar), crisp and harmonious. Drink now or cellar. (In a tasting of the 2011, 2010 and 2008 vintages, held in September 2019, the star was the golden 2011 (5*), which shows lovely richness, vigour and harmony.)
