Two Paddocks Proprietor’s Reserve The Last Chance Earnscleugh Vineyard Pinot Noir

Review:

Estate-grown at Alexandra, in ‘possibly the world’s most southerly vineyard’, the classy 2017 vintage (5*) was hand-picked, fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for 11 months in French oak barriques (20 per cent new). Deep, bright ruby, it is an invitingly scented, medium to full-bodied red, with lively, ripe, plummy, spicy flavours, savoury and complex, and a tight-knit finish. Still very fresh and youthful, with strong personality, it’s well worth cellaring to 2022+. Certified organic.
