Review:
The 2016 vintage (5*) is a powerful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50 per cent), Merlot (30 per cent) and Cabernet Franc (20 per cent), matured in French oak barriques (70 per cent new). Dark and fragrant, it is mouthfilling, with deep blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, savoury, nutty notes adding complexity, and supple tannins. It’s already quite expressive; drink now or cellar.
