Estate-grown on a steeply sloping site at Lowburn, the lovely 2011 vintage (5*), still on sale at $50, is a medium style (18 grams/litre of residual sugar). A distinctive, amazingly youthful wine, , it has a bright, light lemon/green hue. Finely scented, with deep, vigorous, citrusy, limey flavours, woven with appetising acidity, it has excellent delicacy, harmony and length. Well worth discovering. The 2016 vintage (4.5*) should also be long-lived. Attractively scented, it is medium-bodied, with strong, lemony, slightly appley and spicy flavours, gentle sweetness, balanced acidity and a lingering finish.
