Drinking well now, the 2019 vintage (4*) was estate-grown and hand-picked at Blind River, in the Awatere Valley, and fermented and matured in French oak barrels (20 per cent new). Bright, light lemon/green, it is full-bodied, with generous, ripe stonefruit flavours, a hint of butterscotch, considerable complexity, fresh acidity and a finely balanced, smooth finish.
