The stylish, youthful 2020 vintage (4.5*) was hand-picked, mostly in 'The Gravels', with a small portion of the blend coming from the inland Crownthorpe district. Fermented and lees-aged for nine months in French oak barriques (35 per cent new), it is fragrant, with strong, ripe, peachy, citrusy flavours, mealy, savoury, toasty notes adding complexity, lively acidity and a fresh, very finely balanced finish. Already drinking well, it should break into full stride 2023+.
