Hand-harvested, barrel-fermented and lees-aged for nine months, the 2020 vintage (4.5*) was grown at Northburn and Bannockburn. Bright, light lemon/green, it is an elegant, mouthfilling wine, with good intensity of youthful, citrusy, peachy, biscuity flavours, showing very good complexity, a hint of butterscotch, fresh acidity and a slightly creamy texture. Already enjoyable, it should break into full stride mid-2022+.
