Bargain-priced, the refined 2020 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and hand-harvested in the Gimblett Gravels, and fermented and matured for 10 months in French oak hogsheads. Bright, light yellow/green, it is still very youthful, with concentrated, ripe, peachy, citrusy flavours, finely integrated toasty oak, slightly smoky notes, and fresh acidity. It needs time; open 2023+.
