Spy Valley Handpicked Single Estate Marlborough Pinot Noir (2019)

Offering top value, the finely crafted 2019 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and hand-picked at two sites in the Southern Valleys – Johnson Vineyard, in the Waihopai Valley, and Outpost Vineyard, in the Omaka Valley. Matured for 11 months in French oak barrels, it is a deep ruby, invitingly fragrant red, mouthfilling, sweet-fruited and supple, with generous, vibrant cherry, plum and spice flavours, a hint of herbs, and excellent complexity and harmony. Delicious young, it is still unfolding and should be long-lived. Best drinking 2023+.
