The 2019 vintage (4.5*) of this Marlborough white is a blend of Riesling (50 per cent), Pinot Gris (30 per cent), Gewürztraminer (15 per cent) and Viognier (5 per cent), estate-grown and hand-picked in the Raupo Creek Vineyard, in the Omaka Valley, and co-fermented in old French oak barrels. Bright, light yellow/green, it is full-bodied, with rich peach, lemon and spice flavours, showing very good complexity, and a basically dry (4 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. A good all-purpose wine, it should be at its best mid-2022+. Certified organic.
