The 2020 vintage (4*) was grown in the Waihopai Valley (principally) and the Omaka Valley, and mostly handled in tanks; a small portion of the blend was barrel-fermented. Pale, it is fresh, full-bodied and vibrantly fruity, with balanced acidity and peach, pear and spice flavours, showing very good delicacy, depth and harmony. A dry style (4.2 grams/litre of residual sugar), it should be at its best 2022+.
