The 2018 vintage (4*) was matured in French oak barrels (56 per cent new). Retasted in August 2021, it is bright ruby, fragrant and supple, in a medium-bodied style with ripe cherry, plum, spice and nutty oak flavours, showing good depth and complexity, and gentle tannins. A graceful red, it is still fresh and youthful. Best drinking mid-2022+.
