This single-vineyard wine is from vines planted in 1988. Already drinking well, the pale gold 2019 vintage (4.5*) was fermented and matured for 10 months in French oak casks (30 per cent new), and given a full, softening malolactic fermentation. Fragrant, weighty and sweet-fruited, it has generous, ripe, stone-fruit flavours, showing good complexity, and a creamy-smooth finish.
