Certified organic, this deeply coloured, very ageworthy wine was estate-grown at Queensberry, in the Cromwell Basin, hand-picked and matured for nearly a year in French oak barriques (27 per cent new). A powerful, sturdy red, it has dense cherry, plum and spice flavours, earthy and savoury notes adding complexity, finely balanced tannins, and a real sense of youthful potential. Best drinking 2024+.
