Estate-grown and hand-harvested at a very small, single-variety vineyard in Kerikeri, the 2021 vintage (4.5*) is well worth cellaring. A pale, mouthfilling wine, it has strong pear, lychee and spice flavours, fresh, vigorous and finely balanced, with a dry (4 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Best drinking mid-2022+.
