Mission Fete (NV)

'Fete' is French for 'party'. The attractive, non-vintage wine (4*) I tasted in mid 2021 was made from Pinot Gris, estate-grown and hand-picked at Taradale, in Hawke's Bay, and given some maturation in oak barrels. Offering great drinkability, it is a vivacious, finely balanced wine, with vibrant peach and pear flavours, showing very good freshness and depth, and an off-dry finish.
