The 2019 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and hand-picked at Tarras, in the Cromwell Basin, matured for 11 months in French oak barrels (20 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered. A ruby hued, fragrant red, it has generous, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, complex and savoury, gentle acidity and a well-rounded finish. It's already delicious.
