The goal for the distinctive, vigorous 2020 vintage (4*) was "to treat our best Pinot Gris grapes as we would fine Chardonnay." Hand-picked at Tarras and fermented and matured for nine months in French oak barrels, it is a fully dry wine with a light straw hue. Medium to full-bodied, with good concentration of youthful, peachy, spicy flavours, a hint of apricot, and fresh acidity, it needs time; best drinking 2023+.
