Still a baby, the 2021 vintage (4*) was estate-grown and hand-picked at Tarras, and fermented in an even split of tanks and old French oak barrels. Light lemon/green, it is attractively scented, with strong, vibrant pear and spice flavours, showing a distinct touch of complexity, and an off-dry (9 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Best drinking mid-2022+.
