Drinking very well in its youth, the 2020 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown in the lower Awatere Valley. Bright, light lemon/green, it is attractively scented and vigorous, with good intensity of vibrant, citrusy, slightly peachy flavours, fractional sweetness (6.2 grams/litre of residual sugar), appetising acidity and a finely poised, lingering finish. Best drinking 2023+.
