Gladstone Vineyard Pinot Noir (2019)

Priced right, the 2019 vintage (4.5*) was estate-grown and hand-harvested in the northern Wairarapa, and matured for 10 months in French oak casks (15 per cent new). Deep ruby, it is fragrant, sweet-fruited and softly mouthfilling, with cherry, plum and spice flavours, hints of herbs and tamarillo, and very good concentration.
