The 2019 vintage (4.5*) is a powerful red, from a site managed by Gladstone Vineyard. It was matured for 15 months in French oak casks (25 per cent new). Deep and youthful in colour, it is ripely fragrant and sturdy, with highly concentrated flavours, a slightly earthy streak and a fairly firm finish. Still very youthful, it's well worth cellaring to 2025+.
