Estate-grown at Te Awanga, the very stylish 2019 vintage (5*) was fermented and matured for a year in French oak barriques (30 per cent new). Bright, light lemon/green, it is fragrant and youthful, with citrusy, mealy, biscuity flavours, fresh acidity, and impressive complexity, delicacy, vigour and intensity. A classic cellaring style, it's well worth cellaring to 2023+.
