Already drinking well, the 2019 vintage (5*) was estate-grown at the company's sites at Lowburn and Bannockburn. Hand-picked from 16 to 20 year-old vines, it was fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in French oak casks (21 per cent new). Deep, bright ruby, with a fragrant, savoury bouquet, it is mouthfilling, vigorous and sweet-fruited, with concentrated, youthful cherry, plum and spice flavours, supple tannins, and impressive complexity and harmony. Best drinking 2024+.
