Estate-grown at Hope, on the Waimea Plains, and briefly lees-aged, this is a consistently attractive wine, fresh and punchy. The bright, light lemon/green 2021 vintage (4*) is very aromatic, with tropical fruit and herbaceous flavours, showing very good intensity and vigour, and a basically dry (4.5 grams/litre of residual sugar), appetisingly crisp finish.
