Attractively scented, the 2020 vintage (4.5*) was hand-picked on the Awhitu Peninsula, on the south-west shores of Auckland's Manukau Harbour. Fermented and matured in French oak casks (partly new), it is mouthfilling, youthful and sweet-fruited, with strong, vibrant, citrusy, peachy flavours, finely integrated oak and a smooth finish. Already enjoyable, it should be at its best 2023+.
