Three Miners Warden's Court Central Otago Pinot Noir (2017)

Showing good potential, the 2017 vintage (4*) of this single-vineyard red was grown at Earnscleugh, near Alexandra, and matured for 10 months in French oak barrels (30 per cent new). Deep ruby, it is mouthfilling and fruit-packed, with strong, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, fresh acidity, and well-integrated oak adding complexity. An elegant, youthful red, it should be at its best 2021+.
