The 2018 vintage (4.5*) is a blend of Merlot (80 per cent) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20 per cent), matured in French oak barriques (35 per cent new). Full-coloured, it is mouthfilling, with strong blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, showing very good complexity, and a smooth, finely textured finish. An elegant, generous, supple red, it's already enjoyable, but well worth cellaring to 2023+.
