From Pernod Ricard NZ, this very large-volume but typically satisfying wine flows from the stony, relatively warm Rapaura district of the Wairau Valley, which produces a ripe style of Sauvignon Blanc, yet retains good acidity and vigour. The 2020 vintage (3.5*) is an aromatic, very fresh and lively wine, medium-bodied, with tropical-fruit and herbaceous flavours, crisp and dry. Offering good drinking for the summer of 2020–21, it's priced sharply.
