The youthful 2019 vintage (4.5*) is a single-vineyard wine, hand-harvested in the Bridge Pa Triangle, Hawke's Bay. Fermented and matured for 10 months in seasoned oak barriques, it has a fragrant, complex bouquet. Weighty, with strong stone-fruit, pear and spice flavours, a hint of toasty oak and a long, crisp, dry finish, it's well worth cellaring to at least mid-2021+.
