Pisa Range Estate Run 245 Central Otago Pinot Noir (2019)

Offering excellent value, the 2019 vintage (4.5*) was matured for nine months in French oak barriques. Deep ruby, it is mouthfilling and sweet-fruited, with good concentration of youthful, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, savoury notes adding complexity, and supple, finely balanced tannins. Well worth cellaring to 2022+. Ruby hued, the 2018 vintage (4*) is a regional blend, matured for nine months in French oak barriques. Drinking well now, it is slightly nutty and herbal, with cherry, plum and spice flavours, showing very good depth, fresh acidity and a smooth finish.
