Mount Edward Central Otago Pinot Gris (2019)

The 2019 vintage (4.5*) is a single-vineyard wine, hand-harvested at Gibbston and fermented in tanks (60 per cent) and old oak casks (40 per cent). Bright, light lemon/green, it is full-bodied, with concentrated, peachy, slightly spicy flavours, showing a distinct touch of complexity, and a dryish, lively finish. Best drinking 2021+.
